Dave,

First, I don't like to "feed the fishes" so to speak. Why even give them the info of where I bank, who my retirement funds are with or who my electric, phone, cable, Netflex, etc. sites are? This lets them know what I use them and gets them to 1st base. Ya, it's a long way from home but why give them a walk.

Also, I have so many accouns that when I bookmark locally I tend to put some information in title that I would never share. So, my own rule #1 is: if it's personal then don't put it "out there in the cloud".

I do export my bookmarks and copy the file to my jump drive. So, I can use them anywhere on a computer with a USB port. I suppose I could edit the bookmark.html file and delete those items out that are personal and then upload into Delicious or Diigo. But, that's a pain and against my rule #1 as stated above.

Ciao, Bill...

Dave, thanks for the tip. I usually type in word and cut and paste when I type something that needs to be good French or Spanish. However, I was being lazy and I noticed that many of my friends ignore the accents when on line (sort of like texting language). But this makes it easier.

I understand the photo connection, and you can find one here on my blog. The photo of my mom is a bit of an inside gag; I know Michele, Harold, and Tony in other venues, including Facebook. When I joined Facebook, I used a photo of my dad:

No secret plan as yet -- my self-introduction pretty much said it all.

But I would appreciate it if you would either post a real photo of yourself or point me toward one, I get a lot out of seeing the face of a person I'm talking to.

Hi Dave. I hope you can help out with conversation, and not just be a lurker ;-)

Nice photo, Nursing Sister (you've changed)

Maybe it's the stronger coffee lately, but I'm having trouble keeping track of the various forums. So I'm trying something.

Engineer: Is this a holdup?
Doc: It's a science experiment!

What I'm trying to have is a quick checklist for all the forums related to a given week.
