Work Literacy

Web 2.0 for Learning Professionals

It is often challenging, in my opinion, to find the time to blog. When you have a really busy day ahead it is not "natural" to stop and say.... "I should post to my blog." But interestingly, I think that you may want to consider it. Even a short post can help provide a moment to pause and reflect on the day.

For me, I have to drive over two hours for a short meeting, the back in the car and drive two more hours to the next meeting, then in the car again, with friends, for an hour. Once at my final destination, I am going to lead a webinar for about an hour. This is crazy, but I am telling myself, "tasks are an opportunity for growth!" and it is these challenges that stretch us and we learn to do more. But I will add, it is good unless we are so tired that we can't do things at a high level....

So, now I am off to tackle this day. I have created a short blog post that has shared my insights.... I am better for it.

Howdy! Thanks for sharing! I've piggybacked on your great ideas, contributing a crumb here and there. ;->

Lee, for busy people who are driving a lot (like you), another option is to podcast. Gcast lets you record podcasts through your cell phone and then could be uploaded to your blog. I know that a lot of people don't necessarily want to write--they process by talking--so this could be another option.
